Just minutes from downtown Birmingham, Al, Crestwood North's tree-lined streets festure mid-century homes, tudors and craftman-style bungalows some of which were built in the late 1800's.
Crestwood North is built upon the fountain of the Woodlawn Highlands neighborhood and is one of Birmingham's oldest neighborhoods. The section of Crestwood North formerly known as Woodlawn Heights is listed on the National Register of Historic Place. Much of the neighborhood not in the historic district was constructed in the post WWII housing boom. This straddling of housing eras created an interesting architectural and design mix that many residents take pride in.
