Greater Crestwood is a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the neighborhoods of the Greater Crestwood area in Birmingham, Alabama. We bring neighbors together, support shared spaces, and invest in the people, places, and local businesses that make this community unique.

Our work is rooted in the belief that strong neighborhoods are built through connection, pride, and participation. By creating opportunities for residents to engage with one another, we help foster a more connected, welcoming, and vibrant community for everyone who calls Crestwood their home.

Greater Crestwood champions the area as a thriving place to live and grow. We support local businesses, promote neighborhood assets, and share the story of greater Crestwood to strengthen community pride and generate interest among future residents, entrepreneurs, and investors.

We are committed to preserving and enhancing the shared spaces that define our neighborhoods, including Crestwood Park, Clairmont Walking Trails, and other valued community assets. Through events, advocacy, fundraising, and infrastructure support, we help improve and sustain these spaces for long-term community benefit. From neighborhood cleanups to community events, we focus on meaningful, visible improvements that make the area safer, stronger, and more connected.
